Real Life Magic # 9: Creating Space for Others to Shine with Aliya Mughal
Today I am sharing a conversation I had with Aliya Mughal (she/her), where she shares her story of the importance of having people in her life who created space for her to feel seen and encouraged her to shine and express herself authentically.
Aliya is an incredible Writer, Teacher, Editor, Coach, Mentor, and Dharma/ Buddhist Practitioner. Through her brilliant writing and in her many forms of teaching and coaching, she too (like her family members who encouraged her) has a natural ability to make you feel seen and heard and inspire you to express yourself freely, clearly, creatively, and courageously. In her classes and offerings, she creates a space to feel safe and empowered to show up as your real, raw, and authentic self. Her classes are often a mix of reflective writing, gentle movement, conscious rest, meditation, community, and much more.
In reading her newsletters and attending her classes over the years, I am often reminded and relieved that I am not alone in the struggle we all feel through the messiness of life and inspired to use my voice to express myself, even when it will be forever imperfect (after all, we are all human).
