Real Life Magic # 3: Miracles & Tragedies with Pablo Álvarez
Today I am sharing a conversation I had with Pablo Álvarez (he/him) in April 2023, where he shares his family’s story about miracles and tragedies.
Pablo lives with his partner and their dogs, at the cabin he built on his property in the mountains outside Antigua, Guatemala. Pablo worked in the corporate world for 25 years and now he does carpentry. He has a couple of cabins that he rents out on his property, so people can visit, stay at the cabin, talk, and slow their lives for the time they need to reconnect themselves.
Working with his hands, in carpentry and building cabins, has helped him slow down, enjoy, and find meaning in his life. He loves dogs, music, sharing stories, traveling around the world, reading, and writing. You can follow his carpentry work on Facebook.
